A little Friday smile from us all at Bulb… We’re not taking credit for this, but it appeals to the designer in us:

And that lead us onto this which will raise a smile, designer or not – brilliant:

Jim Bought a sledge for his Son, no honestly it’s for his Son…

After a very busy, almost footy-less 2008, Mat & Jim thought it about time they took some time to show their support for their beloved Leicester City and went along to the game against Brighton on Tuesday night… The weather was ugly, the beer weak and the game fruitless and disappointing… But on the bright side, Jim really enjoyed his Pukka Balti Pie… Surely Leicester have to have the best pies in league 1?

Hmmm Balti!

Mr Lamacq shouted us out again today, and most unexpectedly played us a tune… What a lovely lovely man! Thanks Steve and the team at BBC 6 Music – WYOBTTW is in the calendar for next year when we’ll better recognition by the Queen and go for Elvis’!

Just as promised the Queen stopped by to officially recognise WYOBTTWD and disappointed she was not with the Tees on display at Bulb Studios…
Although, due to the temperature, they were covered up, Big Phil reliably informed me that Her Majesty was sporting an ironic neon pink 1996 Spice Girls vest-top (to go with the outfit) and the Duke himself had his ‘77 God Save The Queen (No irony involved) vest – complete with safety-pinned sides and original spit stains from that classic Manchester gig. Y’know the one that gave Tony Wilson the idea for Factory Records – apparently Mick Hucknall was there too and the Duke quite liked him personally, although he thinks Simply Red are Simply Awful apparently.

Mat pulls off the most vintage tee of the day, the classic 1991, faded screamadelica tee complete with cracked print and worn over a blue 1995 Blur Super Turbo tee from the Great Escape tour.

Lauren rocks the '07 Pink tee with classic rock-chick-chic - complete with customised, off the shoulderness and sexy straps!
Thanks for a very good day Steve Lamacq and the team at BBC 6Music!

If you were strolling past the Curve last week, you might have seen the gymnastic demonstrations taking place as part of the matinee performance of Curve’s ‘Lift Off!’. We can only guess that this is the beginning of some very interesting public art performances, and we can definitely expect to see more (leotards maybe?) in the future.
