Just as promised the Queen stopped by to officially recognise WYOBTTWD and disappointed she was not with the Tees on display at Bulb Studios…

Although, due to the temperature, they were covered up, Big Phil reliably informed me that Her Majesty was sporting an ironic neon pink 1996 Spice Girls vest-top (to go with the outfit) and the Duke himself had his ’77 God Save The Queen (No irony involved) vest – complete with safety-pinned sides and original spit stains from that classic Manchester gig.  Y’know the one that gave Tony Wilson the idea for Factory Records – apparently Mick Hucknall was there too and the Duke quite liked him personally, although he thinks Simply Red are Simply Awful apparently.
